I mean, it was a bad Kickstarter – the fact that it’s looking pretty nice now doesn’t change the fact that it felt like Braben stumbled in from a night at the pub, hacked out a Word document and submitted it before collapsing into bed. Then again, it is looking pretty nice now, and like you say in hindsight I’d have preferred to back that than Star Citizen from what previews are available now.

I have already watched the 2013 Invitational finals. Sigh.

Also, I played a game of Dota with Jim. We won, and he was very patient with my Failcentaur. I’ve learned SO MUCH since then though. It was last week.

Fortunately, he seems to reject the concept, according to his Line of Defense interview on GT. He’s dead scared of potentially disappointing millions of backers, probably since his games have always been disappointments to everyone.
