Yeah, I can’t remember exactly why I bounced off it – I think the autogenerated characters and what seemed to be a rather combat-heavy opening might have given me the wrong impression of what it was going to be like. I should have given it more of a chance.

For the record Conquistador was an excellent game although it fell apart a little towards the end

Look, enough with the PoE-bashing mate.

Thanks for the review – next on my list (enjoyed their previous game).

From a Historian perspective – may I recommend the term ‘Early Medieval’ rather than Dark Ages. We don’t use the latter anymore as it is inaccurate and misused.
